The "Legendary Hawaii" draws inspiration from the original Charlie Chan store, founded in the the late 1930's in Honolulu, around the time when Hawaiian shirts were first appeared. This pattern was found on a swatch from the Charlie Chan store, and Sun Surf has faithfully reproduced this Aloha shirt to the specifications of that area. These Special Edition shirts preserve the exquisite multi-color patterns and use of fine details according to when the original shirt was produced. They are made from Rayon crepe, a soft, slightly wrinkled fabric  Rayon is cooling to the skin and has moisture wicking properties.
